Operational Amplifier abbreviated as OP-AMP is a
voltage amplifier available with DC-couple and high value of voltage gain.
According to Electronics and Communication engineers of best engineering colleges in India, OP-AMP is a type of multiple
stages amplifiers, where numbers of stages of amplifier device remain
interconnected to one another that to in complicated manner.
In addition, internal circuit of the device
contains large numbers of transistors, resistors and FETs, all of which occupy
less possible space. In other words, each component of operational amplifiers
remains packed within a small package and available to users in the form of IC
or Integrated Circuit.
Qualified EC professors of best engineering colleges in India further said that the term
OP-AMP primarily denotes a particular type of amplifier that individuals can
choose to configure for performing large numbers of operations, which include
amplification, differentiation, subtraction, addition and integration and lots
more.
Structure
of IC 741 OP-AMP
Until now, personnel of the electronics industry
have used popular types of OP-AMPs referred as IC 741. Symbol and its physical
structure of this amplifier in IC format indicate arrowheads to signify flow of
signals from input to output and vice versa. The circuit mainly has two
differential input terminals and a single output terminal. Lastly, you will
find here two different terminals as negative or inverting terminal and
positive or non-inverting terminals of the device.
