Working Principle of Miniature Circuit Breaker is Mandatory for Engineers

In the recent few years, MCB i.e. Miniature Circuit Breaker component has obtained wide applications in different types of low voltage networks as compared to its counterpart as fuse. MCB type of circuit is available with two different types of arrangement. One of them takes place because of thermal effect caused from over current condition, while another one took place because of electromagnetic effect on the current.

However, during short circuit condition, sudden increase in the supply of current leads to electromechanical displacement of the plunger component related to solenoid or tripping coil of MCB.
